Brawl Stars Tier List
In this article, players will find the Brawl Stars tier list.
Additionally, players can customize each brawler through their gears, gadgets, and star powers, giving them an array of ways to play. Furthermore, every brawler has a rarity, ranging from Rare to Legendary. The higher a brawler’s rarity, the harder it is to unlock them. For example, a legendary brawler takes 3,800 credits to unlock, whereas a Mythic brawler takes 1,900. Therefore, it’s crucial to know which legendary brawlers are the best, so that when players get the chance to unlock one, they make the right choice.
It’s worth noting that every brawler on this list is powerful in their own right, so the ranking takes into account their general power in a range of game modes and situations plus their ease of use for players.
11 Chester
Full Of Tricks, Treats, And Surprises
- Class: Damage Dealer
- Movement Speed: Fast
- Range: Long
- Health: 7400
- Damage Per Bell: 1280
Chester is a good damage dealer up close who can also land shots at range. His standard attack initially throws one bell, then two, then three, up to a maximum of four, before cycling back to one. Unlike other brawlers, Chester’s super randomly selects one of five abilities each time it is charged. The super options include a self-heal, a shot that stuns, a poison cloud, a slowing area of effect, and a throwable explosive. Each effect is useful, but the uncertainty of which one a player will get makes Chester incredibly inconsistent.
Overall, Chester isn’t bad, but he also doesn’t excel in any particular area. There are stronger brawlers at close range and there are certainly more powerful brawlers for mid and long-range engagements, leaving Chester in the middle without any specialties.
10 Kit
Leap And Latch Onto Friendly And Enemy Brawlers
- Class: Support
- Movement Speed: Very Fast
- Claw Range: Short
- Yarn Ball Range: Long
- Health: 6000
- Damage Per Claw: 2000
- Damage Per Yarn Ball: 3200
With a close-range swipe attack and a self-charging super that allows him to latch onto friendly and enemy brawlers, Kit is a versatile brawler. Players can play aggressive by using Kit’s ranged leap to jump onto enemies, dealing damage and immobilizing them for 2 seconds. This may sound good, but throughout this duration, Kit cannot attack, so unless the enemy is alone or low on health, Kit can be eliminated by another enemy while he’s latched on.
Another option is to jump onto a teammate, healing them for 10% of their maximum health every second and gaining a ranged throwable attack for the 10-second duration. This is great at supporting teammates, especially ones with high health totals, and is the preferable option in most situations. Overall, Kit is a strong brawler who takes time to master and is ideal with trusted teammates.
9 Cordelius
A Thing Of Nightmares For The Enemy
- Class: Assassin
- Movement Speed: Very Fast
- Range: Normal
- Health: 6400
- Damage Per Mushroom: 1400
Cordelius is a fast, medium to close-range brawler who shoots mushrooms at enemies and possesses a super that can send an enemy brawler into the shadow realm. The shadow realm is the same as the regular map but is only entered by Cordelius and his affected target. While in the shadow realm, both brawlers can’t use their gadgets, supers, or hypercharges. Once the duration has ended or one of the brawlers is killed, any remaining brawlers return to the normal map. This ability means Cordelius is great at isolating engagements and taking out enemies one by one.
Furthermore, Cordelius can passively charge his super when an enemy brawler is within a 5-tile radius of him, making it much easier to get. However, due to Cordelius’ range and single target damage output, players must carefully choose who they pick a fight with.
8 Surge
Power Up And Take Down
- Class: Damage Dealer
- Movement Speed: Slow
- Range: Normal
- Health: 6600
- Damage Per Shot: 2360
Surge is a strong brawler who deals good damage and powers up after each use of his super. Not only does his super upgrade his overall power, but when activated, Surge jumps into the air and pushes away enemy brawlers around him when he lands, offering opportunities to play aggressive with him or to keep close-range brawlers away.
Initially, Surge is much weaker than an average brawler, with a slow movement speed and short range. However, after this, he becomes much stronger with each stage. At stage two and three, Surge has amazing range and great damage, making him a strong brawler in every situation. However, getting him to these stages can sometimes be a struggle, requiring 3 shots to land before his super is charged.
7 Draco
Dragon Riding And Damage Dealing
- Class: Tank
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Normal
- Health: 11000
- Damage: 1400
- Dragon Damage Per Second: 2,560
As the most recent legendary brawler, Draco has high health and two forms. His medium to close-range attack that pierces through enemies is good at charging his super, and deals double damage at maximum range. However, once his super has been activated, Draco jumps onto his inflatable dragon, increasing his movement speed and breathing fire that passes through enemies and deals increased damage at closer ranges.

His super also charges when he takes damage, making it easier to get onto his powerful dragon. Additionally, Draco’s Expose star power helps him to take out other high health brawlers, since every 5 seconds, Draco’s regular attack marks enemies, making them take 35% more damage for 5 seconds. Overall, Draco is a good tank who can also deal a lot of damage.
6 Amber
An Area Control Specialist
- Class: Controller
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Long
- Health: 6400
- Damage Per Second: 4200
Amber is often underrated, but her long ranged dragon’s breath attack, which pierces enemies, deals a lot of damage and is easy to use. Just holding down the attack joystick is enough to consistently damage enemies for a sustained period of time. Unlike other brawlers, Amber has one long ammo bar that gradually depletes as she attacks. This allows players to continually light up the map with her flames until her ammo bar drops to zero and starts to recharge.
Not only is Amber’s regular attack powerful, so is her super. She throws down a puddle of fire fluid, which she can ignite with her main attack, periodically burning any enemies standing in it. Her star power, Wild Flames, allows Amber to have two fire fluid puddles down at the same time and helps charge her super quicker, increasing her ability to control areas of the map.
5 Leon
A Stealthy Close-Range Damage Dealer
- Class: Assassin
- Movement Speed: Very Fast
- Range: Very Long
- Health: 6800
- Damage Per Blade: 960
Leon’s high damage at close range pairs perfectly with his stealthy super that turns him invisible and allows him to get close to brawlers without them knowing. Both star powers complement him well, too. One increases his speed while invisible, helping him to quickly close the gap on enemy brawlers, while the other heals him when invisible, allowing him to quickly reengage after a fight.

Leon's regular attack has good range but deals little damage at distance. However, this does allow Leon to charge his super by dealing chip damage to enemies. Unfortunately, due to Leon’s insufficient damage at range, there are other brawlers who are generally stronger.
4 Spike
A Cactus Throwing Controller
- Class: Damage Dealer
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Long
- Health: 4800
- Damage Per Spike: 1080
Spike is the perfect all-round brawler who is good at long and close ranges. He throws a cactus that explodes on impact, unleashing spikes everywhere. A direct hit on an enemy deals huge damage, allowing Spike to quickly dispatch most brawlers if they get close to him. However, due to the slow projectile speed, it’s unlikely that Spike will land a direct hit at range, but the spikes do good chip damage to the enemies’ ranged brawlers.
Furthermore, Spike’s Curveball star power makes the spikes from the exploding cactus harder to dodge by rotating them clockwise. For his super, Spike throws down a patch of spikes that slow and damage enemies, which is excellent at controlling an area of the map. Spike’s hypercharge increases the radius of this, making him even more powerful.
3 Sandy
Summons A Defensive Sandstorm To Protect Allies
- Class: Controller
- Movement Speed: Fast
- Range: Normal
- Health: 7600
- Damage Per Shot: 1800
Sandy is a great supportive brawler who significantly helps his team to control areas of a map with his amazing super, which throws down a sandstorm that covers a large area and makes himself and friendly brawlers inside it invisible for 9 seconds. His regular attack pierces enemies and deals good damage at a decent range. He may struggle against long-range brawlers, but the sandstorm allows him and his team to either advance on the enemy or hide from them, which combats this weakness.
Both of Sandy’s star powers are strong. One grants healing to allies within the sandstorm, while the other damages enemies within it. Add to this his mythic gear that decreases enemy damage by 20% while in the sandstorm, and his hypercharge, which makes teammates move quicker within it and silences enemies' abilities when the sandstorm lands, and Sandy is a powerful brawler in a variety of situations.
2 Crow
Poisons Enemies And Decreases Their Effectiveness
- Class: Assassin
- Movement Speed: Very Fast
- Range: Long
- Health: 4800
- Damage Per Blade: 640
Crow may not deal the most damage or have the most health, but his fast speed, poison effect, and de-buff abilities make him a great option in many situations. He throws three poison daggers at enemies, each dealing initial damage and damage over time and reducing healing from all sources by 40%. Crow's leaping super can be used to aggress on low-health brawlers or to escape from danger. With his hypercharge active, the daggers from Crow’s super bounce off surfaces and return to him, dealing huge damage to any enemies around him.

Crow’s selection of star powers, gadgets, and gears greatly increases his potency. One star power reduces poisoned enemies’ damage by 15%, which lowers the power of enemy brawlers. His other star power increases Crow’s damage when hitting targets with 50% or less health, making enemies easier to eliminate. Crow’s mythic gear increases Crow’s poison damage by 30%, while his gadget, Slowing Toxin, slows down all enemies affected by his poison for 3 seconds, providing an easy target to hit.
1 Meg
A Brawler Wrecking Mecha
- Class: Tank
- Movement Speed: Normal
- Range: Long
- Meg Health: 4600
- Mecha Health: 8000
- Meg Damage: 540 x 2
- Mecha Damage: 306 x 16
After a series of buffs, Meg is now a powerful brawler who can deal with enemies at most ranges. Starting in her Mecha suit, she has high health and fires a barrage of bullets that deal good damage up close and at range. When in her Mecha, her super swings an arm at enemies, dealing high damage in a piercing attack that is great at dealing with close-range brawlers.
When the Mecha is destroyed, Meg hops out with a faster movement speed but much less health and damage output. This essentially gives Meg two lives, and while in Meg form, she can recharge her super and jump back into her Mecha. Meg’s Force Field star power gives her a 25% shield for 10 seconds after the Mecha is destroyed, keeping her alive for longer and increasing the chance of her jumping back into her Mecha without having to respawn.
